Determining if the current network location is "Automatic"

  • Subject: Determining if the current network location is "Automatic"

Hello all,

In my app I'd like to be able to determine if the current network location is "Automatic", and act differently then when the network location is set to a specific user-created location. Is there something I can use to identify the "Automatic" location other than its user visible name (which can change with localization)? Is the set ID guaranteed not to change across Mac OS X systems?

Thanks,
Ryan

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
