NDRV sockets were completely broken on 10.0 (you couldn't receive).
They were fixed a bit in 10.1 I think, but there may have been some
problems. They should be working well in 10.2. If you have the latest
software update for 10.1, the fixes may be in there. My memory is
fading unfortunately.
