I am trying to receive UDP messages from a hardware device broadcasting on 255.255.255.255, which, as I understand it, should be received by _all_ connected computers etc. But I'm not having any luck receiving the data.

What about the port? Should the hardware have chosen a specific port?

The hardware doesn't choose ports. The application chooses ports. Care to give us a bit more to go on?

Justin
