Actually, it's correct. The statement is written in the context of

version of that error is what you get in the TDiscon.reason field.
OK, we are/were "looking through" each other. In the context you point out,
it actually makes sense.

That's a /minor/ rant? Gosh, I'd hate to see a major one (-:
<Chuckle> That was nothin'... What? 3/4 of a page? When I'm *REALLY* miffed
about something, I can go on for pages and pages and pages and pages and...

Good.
Well, perhaps not "good"... I suspect more along the lines of "As good as
I'm gonna get." Not QUITE the same thing, but hopefully still sufficient to
let me accomplish my task.
Oh... While I've got you here...
There's a chunk missing from the OT 1.3 PDF file, on/between pages 253 &
254 (pages 285 & 286 as Acrobat Reader counts)
<insert snippet beginning on page 253/285>
Obtaining Endpoint Data With TCP/IP
-----------------------------------
The following values can be returned by the info parameter to the
OTOpenEndpoint, OTAsyncOpenEndpoint, and OTGetEndpointInfo functions when
used with TCP/IP protocols.
Using TCP/IP Services 253

TCP/IP Services
IMPORTANT
The preceding table shows only what values are possible
for each protocol. Be sure to to use the OTOpenEndpoint,
OTAsyncOpenEndpoint, or OTGetEndpointInfo functions to
obtain the current values for these parameters.
These fields and the significance of their values are described in more
detail in "Endpoints Reference" (page 436).

Obviously, there's supposed to be a table there. Any insight about what
it's supposed to look like? Seems to me it could be very useful (even if it
isn't critical) information.
