Hey, KisMAC is an open source wifi stumbler for OS X. Maybe the
KisMAC code will be helpful. I know it can display the SSID and the
base station ID of the networks it picks up. http://

I have used some of the code from the sample ‘GetMACAddressSample’

obtain other Network information, such as the SSID, Mac address of
the SSID, which is equal to the ‘Base Station ID’ displayed in
‘Internet Connection’ app on my 10.3.8 box. In conjunction I would
like always be able to obtain, in my code, other network
information, such as the Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, settings and
so on.
Does anyone know of some sample code or reading information that
will help me in this task? Or even some APIs that I should be
concentrating on that I could search some or the Darwin code for?
Thanks for reading
