In this manner, yes. Effectively, the first bad password caused an
invalidation of the underlying structures which
CFHTTPMessageAddAuthentication uses.
Well, that completely defeats the point, doesn't it? It seems like the
main benefit of CFHTTPMessageAddAuthentication is that I don't have to
recreate the HTTPMessage from scratch (and I really like this; I
appreciate not having to track down all the properties and flags I set
on the original message when I need to prompt for a password), but now
I have to write code to recreate it from scratch anyway... I'll be
filing a bug on this.
Assuming there is nothing I can call on the message to make
CFHTTPMessageAddAuthentication work the second time, do I have any easy
way to make a fresh copy of the message, or do I have to remember all
the flags and properties I set on it?
