Title: Dismal performance of CFFTPCreateParsedResourceListing

Hi,

On the performance side of things, one of the notable problems I'm seeing is the dismal performance of CFFTPCreateParsedResourceListing().

One of the directories my application must enumerate contains approx 3500 files.  The listing of this directory arrives in unparsed text form in less than a second.  Then the loop to parse it with CFFTPCreateParsedResourceListing() takes another 30 seconds!

Is there anything I can do short of parsing the raw directory listing myself?  I'll do it if I have to, but I was hoping I was just missing something obvious (or not quite so obvious) to enhance the performance of the built-in parser.

Thanks,
Terry
