OT: FireWire to Ethernet adapter

I know it's OT, but since I've failed to find anything on the web, maybe here there's someone who faced this before...

I am looking for a FireWire to Ethernet adapter. Googling did not show any relevant results. Is there an adapter that I can plug into the FireWire port of Mac OS X machine, to have an additional Ethernet port?

And, I have found a D-Link USB to Etherneet adapter, namely DUB-E100. There's not a single word on the website on whether it works with Mac or not. Has someone had experience with it? Or maybe some similar device?

Regards,
Igor
