Dear macnetworkprog
I tried to put a file in OSX onto a netatalk server, the file's name length >255 bytes. it failed with the message "file names are too long". but strangly I didn't get any informations about the "too-long-name" file in the natatalk server by printing the afp commands with the afpd option "-d". but according to the AFP3.1 it would be OK to send a path name >255 bytes. so I thought it would not be AFP but OSX who checked the file name length, IS IT?
p.s. I use OS 10.3.9
