luck deciphering anything. There's no time stamps. It never really
hangs, but the machine does start to act a bit weird. It only seems
to do it (I think) when it's plugged in to a network, and I've tried
three different setups.
Any ideas on what might be making it get stuck? Any better places to
ask this question?
This is a good list, but perhaps darwin-development would be better.
Some questions:
1) Is there anything that looks relevant in the system or console log?
2) What does configd print in verbose mode when you are in this
condition?
3) You can use 'sample', or, perhaps, 'shark', to get an idea of what
configd is doing while the hang is in progress. Ok, this isn't a
question.
As a last resort, you can attach to a process with gdb. That might
tell us something. You could always recompile with debug symbols and
see what it looks like.
