That's great. Thanks a lot to you and Quinn.
I've got my news client connected and reading messages now.

Now I'm having a problem when I want to disconnect the socket and free its resources.
I thought CFSocketInvalidate was what I should use to disconnect the socket, but my program is freezing at that point.


Any further help would be greatly appreciated.
