Crash inside CFFTP

I've got a user reporting frequent crashes with backtraces like the one below.
My reading of the source implies that the ftpContext->url would have to be null for this to happen, I fail to see how this could happen (surely this would cause a crash far earlier on)
Has anyone else seen anything similar or am I looking at a random memory stomper ?
