I have a problem with all of MoreSCF, it looks like. Code that just reads system config info that worked on the DTK machines now crashes. Also, new code I'm working on compiles but either bombs out on asserts or crashes because the MoreSCF routines (I think) return bad things. Sorry if I'm not very clear on this, I just found it out (I just got my macbook today.)

Is MoreSCF still supported/recommended? Is there something newer/better? Do I need to open an incident?

Hi List!

Hope this is the right list for this...!

On the new intel-based iMacs, and Mac OS 10.4.5, MoreSCF doesn't seem to work correctly under rosetta. I have a problem with this line of code:

err = MoreSCNewSet(userVisibleName, &newSetID);

My SetupTool (running as uid 0) crashes.

The code works perfectly fine on other macs, and it did also work on the DTK intel-prototype-mac. (which is interesting).
I Use CodeWarrior (with PowerPlant) for this app, and the target is Mach-O.

Does anyone know if there's an updated version of MoreSCF available other than on the Apple site? (I've downloaded the whole MoreIsBetter package, which seems to have the latest version of MoreSCF).
Quinn?
