Connecting to a WiFi Network using a GUI

  • Subject: Connecting to a WiFi Network using a GUI

It could be possible to call:

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Resources/ airport -a<arg>

to connect to a WiFi network.

Would there be the equivalent with a GUI so that it can be called via Distributed Notification, AppleEvents or another mechanism?
