How to set AirPort Extreme to access point mode?

Greetings,

I'd like to programatically set the AirPort Extreme card to access point mode, including setting the Network Name, encryption mode, password, etc.

Similar to what Internet Sharing does, except that I don't want to use NAT, as Internet Sharing automatically does.

Is there any published documentation on how to accomplish this?
