Hey Stefan,
If I understand correctly, you want to obtain the stats from a PPP
connection. Internet Connect does this through plugins it loads. If
you're using pppd, you can add those plugins in to the options file
and have it load when a connection is established. If you want to do
this all programmatically, you should look at this article: http://
cocoadevcentral.com/articles/000033.php It's a little dated, but
should be what you need. Basically Apple left this functionality out
of the API.
