Title: Authorization Services
Hi,
Apart from the apple documentation and TechNote on Authorization Service's, are there any examples of using this technology e.g. Maybe suggested setup's.
As I'm wondering why the authorization file within /etc/authorization is global, as I could see that you might want to per user customizations to give some more privileges to other e.g. From Technote below System.burn, some who can and cannot.
<http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn2002/tn2095.html>
I'm guessing this might be done via groups of users who can and cannot burn, but this would like to start getting complicated for typical home setup depends on what you think a user can do (and don't see how you could specify multiple user groups within a authorization right or any schema documentation - I understand it could change per OS release but I think we are suppose to be tweaking this directly to lock down a system ?).
Apologies, if I've missed some key piece of information on researching this technology as being reading all this most of today as looking how I can integrate this.
Thanks
Mark.
