While I can't really answer the question for you, you can test for the
type of NAT or at least get a good guess.
I used the stun code at <http://sourceforge.net/projects/stun/> for a
recent project. It includes the ability to determine the type of NAT
being used by testing various situations and common implementations of NATs.
By the way, I used this code with my AEBS and it generally worked just fine.
