mbuf retransmits

  • Subject: mbuf retransmits

Hi,

My NKE injects packets using the ifnet_output_raw function. I need to handle the situation where the network drops the packet and I need to re-transmit the mbuf. Is it possible to have ifnet_output_raw NOT free the mbuf packet, maybe using some retain flag or something? I'm trying to avoid copying mbufs just for this purpose.

Thanks,
DJ
