I'm having a hard time parsing this text. My best guess is that
you're writing a WebKit-based browser application and you want to
override the proxy settings for your application only. If that's
correct, my advice is:
o It may be possible. Certainly you can do this at the CFHTTPStream
level, which underlies WebKit.
o I don't think we have any WebKit experts on this mailing list. You
might want to ask your question the WebKit development list.
