Hi All,
Was wondering if anybody can advise on whether the MoreSCF API of
'MoreSCDHCPRelease' is the same as the 'Renew DHCP lease' button, as
sometimes when I have seen the 169.x.x.x address that clicking on the button
doesn't do anything. (When this happen's to me is using the USB Ethernet
adapter)
However if I just switch between 2 network locations (same port's enabled
and configured), then that is enough to resolve the issue and get a good IP
address.
I now looking to do this programmatically (to add to my work's setup
client) I'm wondering if MoreSCDHCPRelease will be sufficient, as I find
trying to reproduce is fault problematic.
Googling around I have also seen some command lines which do the same, so
would be interested to hear if there is a preferred way to do this ?
