You should start by downloading the mDNSResponder project from Darwin
CVS. The latest stable release is a little out of date, but it's
still pretty solid. An updated version will be released at some point.

Start with the README file and then look at mDNSPosix/mDNSPosix.c for
an example of how to implement a platform layer.
