So you think maybe my ISP is dropping connections because it thinks

BitTorrent traffic tends to involve large data transfers in each
connection (that's kind of the point), not very small requests.
I don't know enough about BitTorrent to take sides here.
If you use a news-reader, can it successfully update?
I use iTunes to update 40-50 podcasts, but it takes hundreds, and a
minute or two, before connections start getting dropped.
