The OS thinks you have IPv6 connectivity because something on your
network is sending IPv6 router advertisements for a default IPv6
route. This is probably the AirPort Extreme. It's probably in NAT
mode, and your cheapo Trendnet router isn't actually routing; it's
just bridging between ethernet and Sonic's DSL link.
The AirPort Extreme is probably misconfigured for use on Sonic's
network. They don't support automatic 6to4 tunnels. However, they do
host an unsupported manual tunnel service, which I use at home. It
works great.

Either set your AirPort Extreme for IPv6 link-local only, or set up a
manual tunnel with Sonic.Net.
