CFReadStream and iPhone

  • Subject: CFReadStream and iPhone

Hello, all ...

I'm using CFReadStream in my iPhone application to read a stream from a server. Everything works well enough, until the network changes i.e. between 3G, EDGE and WIFI. I don't seem to be getting an error from the CFReadStream when this happens ... should I be? I use the reachability APIs to check connectivity, but once connectivity is established and the CFReadStream is created, I don't get any errors back from the CFReadStream when the network changes (and I would think I would i.e. the connection would be dropped, right)?

Regards,

John
