I've been tasked with writing an application that has a requirement that it be able to connect to a number of pre-defined wireless networks depending on what type of data is being processed. From the application, I need to be able to specify a Wireless Network Name, Username and password to connect to. Additionally I need to be able to disconnect from the Wireless Network from the application. Can anybody point me towards an API that allows this?

There are no public APIs for this on current shipping systems. If you have access to Snow Leopard seeds, you should look at the CoreWLAN framework.

We can't discuss Snow Leopard technologies on this public mailing list. If you have questions about this stuff, you should ask them on DevForums.
