From past few weeks I have been working on client
server application.
One of its feature was to block internet on client machine
when machine when server drops a message “Block Internet” on that
machine.
The feature is successfully implemented. Heartiest Thanks
for your support and help.
Now, I need some help in redirecting a browser to a page “custom.html”
which is in application bundle or can be anywhere but on the client machine
only.
This is like a notification to user that Internet has been
blocked on that machine by xxx server.
Functionality will be like, xxx Server blocks the internet
on client machine. If someone tries to browse through internet (say using a
browser Firefox).
Suppose user types www.google.com
and as internet is blocked he is redirected to page “custom.html”.
This page is stored on client machine itself.
And Firefox instead of displaying Google webpage, it will
display our “custom .html” page with the desired message.
Currently, I don’t have a clue how can I redirect any
browsing activity on that machine.
Any help is highly appreciated.
