Hi,

I have a USB Novatel device I am making a setup manager for.  Apple provides WWan support on 10.4.8+, so when a person inserts a device in, a new services is provided in the network preference pane.  When available and the device is plugged in, Apple has made PPP support a breeze with one click of the "connect" button. Once connected the modem dials out to a service provider and an IP is attained.

OK.  So my question.... does anyone know of a way to programatically "connect" and "disconnect" the service, as if the user pressed the "connect" or "disconnect" button on the preference pane?

Is there an API?

Randy
