UNIX Network Programming

  • Subject: UNIX Network Programming

Hello,

I've been using NSNetservices over bonjour for a while for network programming, and they always seem to give me trouble. I'm thinking of completely switching away from auto-discovery, and would like to get into low-level unix networking. I'm wondering what the best books, or sources are for learning about it, and also, if it's really worth it in the end (as in, is there a better way to do networking).

Thanks,

Joe Turner
