Dear list,
I'm sorry for the recent spam email(s) that got through and I owe
everyone an explanation and my sincere apology.
The emails were sent through my email without my permission. I
thought that the cause was that my password was compromised after the
last email and I promptly changed it. I thought its over but I see
that it has struck again. Now I suspect that my computer is
compromised instead.
I seek the list's understanding about this and assure you that I'm
trying my best to stop this. I've also contacted the ISP of the
address that accessed my gmail account (from the access log) as well
as lodged a complaint to the DNS registar and host of the website
mentioned in the emails. To ensure that the list won't hear such
rubbish from me again, I'll be deleting the list address from my
address book (which I think was auto added when I first emailed to the
list) since whatever is doing this is sending its spam to my whole
contact list. I'll also lower my list privileges to receive the digest
only.

With sincere apology
