Title: Ip address of the cisco vpn client
Hi,
I have a cisco vpn client configured.
I can connect to a vpn network using cisco vpn client.
I am trying to read the cisco vpn client address from the location tate:/Network/Service/[^/]+/IPv4.
The ip address of the cisco vpn client is same as ethernet.
When i do ifconfig, the cisco vpn interface is not shown but when i tried the same thing on windows,
ifconfig shows the new cisco vpn client interface and its address.
Some people from the apple lists suggested some solutions.
Ther are:
1)using $scutil
> list State:/Network/Service/[^/]+/IPv4
>show State:/Network/Service/[^/]+/IPv4
But the ip address of the cisco vpn client is same as ethernet.
2)To use inbuilt cisco vpn .
After configuring the in-built cisco vpn ,when i try to connect,it says "server negotiation failed.check the server address".
I tried
Plz can anyone tell me how to get the correct ip address of the cisco vpn client.
-Vasavi
