UDP Multicast Question

  • Thread-topic: UDP Multicast Question

Are there any good examples available of how to set up a multicast network,
especially from the Mac receiver viewpoint? This is for a broadcast type of
system on a LAN with separate IPs and/or port numbers which can be selected
by the receiver. Ideally, each broadcast channel would be a single IP or a
range of port numbers (sockets) for that broadcast service.
