Hi,
I want to mount a SMB volume with FSMountServerVolumeSync which looks like: `smb://192.168.2.4/shared` , but i want to give it a different volume name. So it could appear something like: `/Volumes/myVolume`. (not `/Volumes/shared`).
Is it possible to do something like that ?
Thanks

I don't believe that's possible. The man page for mount_smbfs(8) doesn't show an argument for setting the ATTR_VOL_NAME volume name attribute, and I took a quick look at the sources (just in case the man page was outdated) and if looks like the name the smb file system provides is always the last path segment of the URL.
