Is WDS even supported anymore within the Airports? I am having a hard time trying to get WDS to work with a current AirPort Extreme dual band with an older AirPort Express b/g device.

Can you mix older wireless devices using WDS? The Express sees the Main WDS however it can't pull down a local IP address.

It appears Apple is trying to hide this feature within current Airports. I have to hold down the option key to reveal WDS under wireless.

It used to work well and my biggest WDS deployment was 9 remotes and relays. It was solid for 2 years without a hiccup. Now it seems frustrating and inconsistent.
