Some of our guys are having difficulty with SOCKS proxy and don't seem to have it working in Safari as well as our product. I wasn't sure if Safari didn't support it or our SOCKS setup was just bad. It seems to work fine without authentication, but with authentication, it doesn't seem to work. We're still looking into whether or not the server is configured correctly.
I have another question regarding proxies. In the System Preferences, there's a checkbox that says "Proxy server requires password". Where/How is this stored?
Thanks,
Elliott
