Thanks; I had actually been looking at that readme but hadn't found that particular paragraph.

Also, be aware that the identity preference mechanism described by Ken is for Mac OS X only; iOS doesn't have this facility and you always have to deal with delegate callbacks.

*facepalm* Once again, doing anything involving security or crypto on iOS turns out to be a World Of Pain :(
