  • Thread-topic: Programatically sending IPv6 Router Solicitation

Hi,

Is there any System Configuration API or any other way to programmatically send IPv6 Router Solicitation in order to receive Router advertisement to configure IPv6 address and default route?
Basically I need to receive Router Advertisement before Router lifetime expires.

It looks like there is an API SCNetworkInterfaceForceConfigurationRefresh for IPv4 to contact DHCP server immediately rather than waiting till its timeout. Is there any similar API available for IPv6?

Thanks, Viral
