  • Thread-topic: Mountain Lion VPN IPv6 issue

When VPN client connects, I make VPN service as primary using system configuration framework (using OverridePrimary key) for both IPv4 and IPv6 so that default IPv6 and IPv4 route for VPN tunnel interface (e.g. utun) is getting added.
When I disconnect VPN client, I first remove VPN service IPv6 entry from dynamic store (at State:/Network/Service/VPN_ServiceID/IPv6) and then remove VPN client tunnel interface.
The issue I am facing is that when I disconnect VPN client, the default IPv6 route for physical adapter (e.g. en0) is not getting restored back.

On OSX Lion 10.7, this seems to work fine and when VPN client disconnects, the default IPv6 route for physical adapter (i.e. en0) is getting restored back.
But on OSX Mountain Lion 10.8, when VPN client disconnects, the default IPv6 route for physical adapter is not getting restored back.

Also IPv4 seems to work fine. Issue is seen with IPv6 on Mountain Lion 10.8.

Am I missing any steps? Please provide your inputs.

Thanks,
Viral
