Got it, just filing it for your reference since its not documented anywhere.

kSCPropNetOverridePrimary - setting this to 1 disables split tunnel (i.e. equates to 'send all traffic over vpn connection' ; setting this to 0 enabled split tunnel (i.e. manual routing).

Hi,

I'm working on an app to programmatically add / edit an L2TP over IPSec VPN Connection on OSX. No issues adding / editing and even connecting / disconnecting the VPN (thanks to Quinn's excellent guide on adding a vpn connection programmatically).

But I've now encountered a roadblock when I try to modify the 'Send all traffic over VPN connection' flag. I'm unable to figure out how to modify this - I've looked at the PPP interface configuration, the ipv4 protocol configuration, even the extended ipsec configuration, but unable to find it anywhere (even though the PPP configuration includes other properties from the same pane in the Network Configuration dialog).

Anybody have an idea how I can do this? As you can guess Ive spent much of my weekend working on this already ;)

Quinn - is this even doable? We really need to get the split-tunneling turned off and on programmatically via the API.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
