Title: Streaming Server Automation
I’m taking a look at the multi-rate streaming server, and the streaming list seems to be pretty much defunct, so I’ll ask here.

A cursory read of the literature seems to indicate that there is quite a bit of work invlved to actually setup and use this capability. Is there some way to automate this process?  Once the user has recorded a high-quality video file and chosen where it is to be uploaded to a website, I would like a single-click process to do all the encoding, segmenting, etc., to produce a multi-rate http streaming capability for that video on the site.  The various parameters can be hard-coded or settable, but the entire process needs to be un-complicated from the user’s perspective.  Is there a tool, block of code, or service, anywhere that does this?  Or will we have to generate if from scratch?
