WiFi channel separation

I'm using CWInterface's -startIBSSModeWithSSID:security:channel:password:error: to create private ah-hoc wifi networks from dedicated iOS/OSX pairs of devices. I have six independent peer-pairs of devices operating in close proximity to each other that I don't want to be in WiFi channel conflict. Based on Cisco's channel deployment document (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/technology/channel/deployment/guide/Channel.html), I assign the first pair to operate on channel 1, the next pair on channel 6, and the next on channel 11. What wifi channels do I assign the last two pair to so they don't overlap?

I've noticed this message in the console log:
kernel[0]: en1: Supported channels 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 36 40 44 48 52 56 60 64 100 104 108 112 116 120 124 128 132 136 140 149 153 157 161 165

Channels 36 and above aren't mentioned in the Cicso document. Are they available for use in this same way, or are they reserved for special purposes?
