I also noticed that the values used to represent TLS 1.1 and 1.2 in TLS settings still aren't defined as public API and have to be hardcoded as string literals. :(

A note in TN2287 says:

> Important: The socket security level constants shown in Listing 1 are not yet defined in <CFNetwork/CFSocketStream.h> (r. 10229865) . For the moment you should use a literal string, as illustrated by the listing.


This "moment" has lasted three years [to the day!] and three major OS releases. Any hope of getting these constants added to the header soon? (It's nice that the technote cites a Radar number, but of course that isn't any help to those of us outside Apple.)
