It did last week, this week I've disabled that to see what happens in
testing. I'm also messing with location services entitlements.
I posted a bug inhouse here regarding how a 1/second broadcast stops for
30-50 seconds after a request-response cycle ends, seemingly explaining
why the listener would stop listening for a while, but I'm also looking
at whether backgrounding is related to the listener no longer listening.

So, does the app shut down this socket when the app becomes eligible for suspension (typically when moving into the background) and bring it back when the app becomes ineligible for suspension?
