I've been looking through the  SCNetworkConfiguration Reference but I have been unable to find a method to add additional configurations to IPSEC/L2TP VPN connections.

In the networking UI in system preferences users have the ability to add configurations to existing VPN connections which share the same authentication settings, but allow different service addresses

What is the name for that configuration in SCNetworkConfiguration?

The code being used to create the VPN connections is linked - https://github.com/halo/macosvpn/blob/master/macosvpn/Classes/VPNController.m

Thanks,
