and another from the client I’m doing some work for. They’ve been doing it for
years but have never had any macOS or iOS clients, curl from the command line
handles this case and I was able to use libcurl to handle this case in my macOS
code.
I think the problem is that the spec says “should not” instreaf of “do not” so
many people feel that means it is optional (and I guess I’ve read that the
“should not” part has even been removed from newer versions of the http spec...
