In this case all I want to do is get to the frame of the QuickTime movie
that FCP is reading. So I need the URL and the footage offset. I am pretty
sure I don't care about the rest. If the frame and or the file ended up
being something unexpected or something unreadable, we would deal with that
as necessary.
We could accomplish what we need via XML, but it is not as clean a workflow
as an effect directly in FCP would be.
Email me directly if you'd like to discuss more.
