Hi all,

I mentioned the problem of the FCP XML formating earlier as FCP uses ascii 13 for a new line which causes problems for XML round trips. This is not a real problem when only reading XMLs I thought, but now I realized that this is not true some times when reading QT metadata from the XML. So is there a way to remove ascii 13 and following tabs and "" and following tabs quickly (removing the quoted open/close brackets would be fine as well). Below an example of what comes from FCP <value><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <BWFXML> <IXML_VERSION>1.5</IXML_VERSION> <PROJECT></PROJECT> <SCENE></SCENE> <TAKE>1</TAKE> <TAPE></TAPE> <UBITS>22050701</UBITS> <FILE_UID>01860</FILE_UID> <NOTE></NOTE> <SPEED> <NOTE></NOTE> <MASTER_SPEED>25/1</MASTER_SPEED> <CURRENT_SPEED>25/1</CURRENT_SPEED> … </value>
