Imported XML data MIA

I have one that's similar to Philip's: When I import some text into the Description column of a clip, that text does not show up in the bin. However, when I export another XML for that imported clip, the original content shows up in the that XML file. Weird, huh?

I was thinking maybe an internal hickup around screen drawing?
