One thing of caution: When you're using Compressor to make enhanced audio files. Don't use the Podcast markers. Use the chapter markers. I just had that issue with a 1h radio show. Podcast markers don't work at all, using them will not get you the chapter menu in iTunes but Chapter markers will do the trick. I don't know why podcast markers are in there at all. But there you go.
Back to video. Any news?

Well there is, Compressor. But I'm not talking about audio files here. That's trivial now. It's the video chapters with title images for each chapter that I can't get to work.
Apple does it with the movies from the iTunes store. Apple makes Compressor. Logical conclusion: I'm doing something wrong. I just need to find out what it is.

To quote Phil Hodgetts on another list this morning:
"There's not yet (afaik) an easy way to do mp4 chapter markers other than in Garageband."

Hey everybody,
since a while I'm trying to get the same results as the titles in the iTunes Movie section.
I set the chapter markers with images in Compressor, also tried using the Podcast markers. Then select h.264 based outputs and... no chapters.
Also I didn't see any specialized menus there, even checked in the manual. Since Apple usually takes pride in using their own apps I get the feeling I'm doing something wrong here.
Did anyone encounter the same issue an maybe has a solution for it?
cheers,
Frank
