I wonder if anyone can help me. Within an FCP XML does anyone know what the default displayformat is for a JPEG or other still image. To my knowledge if there is no displayformat node for a clipitem within an XML, then on import FCP will assume that clilpitem is NDF (non drop frame).
However, looking at JPEG example I have (which contains no displayformat node anywhere inside its clipitem) FCP is displaying it as 29.97 DF in the browser. I just wondered if anyone could tell me how it is coming to this conclusion and is this consistent on previous versions of FCP and/or XML.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
